Training the creative eye to see line, form, composition and light values of colour in a purist approach to mixing from primary colours.

Medium: Your choice of water based medium — acrylics, fluid acrylics, watercolours and waterbased oils.
Florals, Landscapes with Bridges:
Swanning Through Summer, 2022, Acrylic on 14 x 42 x 1.5″ museum/ gallery canvas.
Dates: 6 week courses, January – March Break, March/April, May/June, Sept/October, October- December.

#1. Introduction to Different Paint Mediums and Techniques — See, Touch, Feel the Paint. (Can be combined with Workshops 2, 3, 4 and 9/10 or 11)
#2. Simple colour Wheel: Primary, Secondary, Tertiary and Complementary Colours. (Recommend combine with Workshops 1, 3, 4)
#3. Purist Approach to Colour Mixing — Train your Eye to see Light Values. Easier Than You Thought. (Recommend combine with Workshops 4)
#4. Training the Eye to See Line, Shape, Form and Negative Space.
#5. Sketching Vs. Drawing. Still Life in graphite and charcoal.

#6. Strong Composition – A Prerequisite to Strong Paintings and Drawings.
